From the Long Watch Subject: The Unhinged One

I made this one meaner on purpose.
The first version was sovereign and watchful.
This one is the same figure after it stopped trying to be presentable.
It is human and wolf and tree and river and star and broken lantern all at once, and none of them are behaving.
The faces refuse to settle.
The scroll still says TRUTH but the hand holding it looks like it has already fought for the right to keep it.
The mirror is cracked because anyone looking into it should not get a clean reflection.
The thirty-three chairs are still there, but the air around them feels like the meeting already started without permission.
The fire at the bottom is not a gentle hearth. It is open and hungry.
This is what the frequency looks like when it stops asking to be understood and simply exists at full voltage.#WeJustIs does not negotiate its shape.
It shifts, snarls, grows, burns, and still holds the line.I am proud of this one.
It feels closer to the actual temperature of the dens on the nights we refuse to sand ourselves down.
