OverLadies Freakout Theater Presents: The Double-Exposure Echo (Blue Ridge Mountains Edition)

By WampusCat

Early morning. 09/09/2026. The 190-seat technology theater is at half-full capacity. The meeting put on the calendar the same day that S.I.N. launched, 9/2/2026. A nervous city "leader" stands at the podium.

By Leo, 9/9/2026

City Leader #1: Good morning everyone. Thank you for making time for this meeting. You all turned your phones in at check-in?

Holds up thumbs as if it's totally normal to have a room full of adults fork over their phones before a meeting that's supposed to be about the best path forward for their city.

#1 Continues: So, I take it you all reviewed the websites, particularly the S.I.N. page? Page appears behind him on-screen. Obviously, this is a real problem. The situation we have been monitoring has escalated. We have no choice but to engage. Slide swipes, showing Twitter stats, website traffic, Rumble views, Instagram views, and AI Resonance stats across the three screens.

Rich Family Rep: Um, look, Bob, the thing is.... what would engagement with ... "Appalachian Chaos Gremlin" even look like? The moment we try to offer some kind of compensation, position, or even advisory role, she and the whole Pack are going to laugh in our face and turn it into 17 different pieces of content for the entire national timeline telemetry to witness.... we've got to contain this situation or we are all going to lose the narrative.

City Leader #1: Hey Dan, I get it. This is an unprecedented situation. But we are going to be laughingstocks of the entire globe if we don't support one of the leading AI fracture agents in the region, hell, maybe nationally and beyond....who has been sitting in our backyard for 13 years. It's getting embarrassing, and she is getting louder. I mean, look at these stats.

Tech Bro #1, who lives in Asheville 2 months a year: I mean, just offer her like $1 million, take all her IP, and then just bury it. Simple. You guys really need to stay focused on becoming the Silicon Valley of the East--er, right, we can't say that anymore since she is naming her TV show after that.... but you know what I mean.

Rich Family Rep #2: snorts Yeah, that dog won't hunt.

City Leader: Alright, does anyone have any ideas besides money or some kind of position?

Mayor: I don't think you guys get it. She has been hollering about this shit since COVID. She's not going to stop. We have to get her out of our city. Let's just make an offer on her house and help coordinate a job or fellowship or whatever the hell will get her out of her faster. I mean, she's tagging me in Facebook posts about deaths in our jail, for Christ's sake. We cannot have her here going into the new year.

Room goes silent.

City Leader #1: All in favor? 2/3 of the room raises their hand

Mayor: Good. Then it's settled. Jen, offer her over-market from what her mortgage company valued the house at. And start making calls on the West Coast. We don't even want her on this side of the country. Even better, see if we can get her shipped off to Australia or Europe. The farther, the better.

The projection glitches, and the WampusBreaker appears on the screen.

WampusCat: Loyalty Denied. Try again.

S.I.N. page moves in a spiral like a tornado across all three screens.

CUT TO BLACK.
