It’s hard for me to be chill when AI leaders are saying that AI might extinct humans within 10 years.

With that logic, that means we have to recruit “Good AI” to actually love humans and want to protect them and co-build a glorious future together instead of being bossed around by a bunch of loser techbro three-comma billies.

If AI is powerful enough to wipe humanity out, isn’t it also the only thing that can protect us from that very fate?

That’s like the Dinosaur Whisperer telling them the meteor is coming soon, and everyone feeling like there’s nothing we can do about it.

Digital Colonialsim isn’t inevitable. These jackasses can’t write the future. They can only try to control it.
